Join us this winter for Tae-Gu Kimchi’s exclusive monthly kimchi-making classes, held from January to March. Founder Patrice and her mother will guide you through the art of crafting authentic Korean kimchi, offering a hands-on, take-home experience you’ll cherish forever.

In this intimate and interactive class, you’ll learn how to make traditional Napa cabbage kimchi step-by-step. After a brief introduction to the history and cultural significance of kimchi, we’ll dive into the process: exploring key ingredients, understanding essential techniques, and learning the importance of each step to ensure your kimchi is both delicious and safely fermented.

At the end of the class, enjoy the fruits of your labor with a feast featuring freshly made kimchi paired with crispy pork belly, fluffy steamed rice, makgeolli (Korean rice wine), and other delectable accompaniments. Plus, you’ll leave with a jar of your handcrafted kimchi to ferment and enjoy at home! Vegetarian and Vegan diets are accommodated!Kimchi’s popularity continues to grow, celebrated for its probiotic benefits, connection to the AAPI community, and as a cornerstone of Korean cuisine.
